Start with what it needs to do

A useful shed begins
with a clear purpose.

01

A place for the tools.

Think about long handles, shelves and the equipment you reach for often.

02

Storage with room to get inside.

Plan for opening doors and retrieving things, as well as the footprint of the building.

03

A project that belongs in the garden.

Compare the design with available space, access and the look you have in mind.

From a garden idea to a considered plan

Look beyond
the outside.

My Shed Plans combines a collection of shed designs with project drawings, materials information and construction guidance.

Use a selected plan to look at the work ahead before you buy timber or clear the site.

PROJECT NOTES / BEFORE YOU BUILD

Think through
the groundwork.

The right design still needs the right site. Consider the ground, access, foundation and local requirements before committing to a build.

Suitable tools, materials and the skills for your chosen project are separate from the digital plans.

Before you make space

A few practical details.

Clear answers to help you choose the right resource for your project.

Will a shed or timber kit be delivered?

No. This is a digital plans product. The shed, timber, roofing, fixings, foundation materials, delivery and installation are separate from the information being promoted.

How do I choose a suitable design?

Begin with intended use, available space, access and any site restrictions. Then inspect the selected drawing and construction details. Do not choose solely from an illustration or assume a design can be resized without further assessment.

Are all designs suitable for a first-time builder?

That should not be assumed. Projects can differ in complexity and required skills. Review the complete selected plan and arrange qualified help for work outside your experience.

Do the plans include planning permission?

No. Local permissions and building requirements depend on the property and jurisdiction. A digital plan collection cannot grant approval or confirm that a specific shed is permitted on your site.

What about foundations and local conditions?

Ground conditions, drainage, wind, snow and intended loads may affect the design needed for your location. Have relevant site and structural questions assessed before building; a general plan is not a site inspection.

Where can I confirm the current package?

The seller's offer sets out the available collection, digital access and purchase terms. Review those details and any sample information before deciding whether the product supports the project you have in mind.
